Raimondo retreats: “Executive Order 20-12 entitled ‘Tenth Supplemental Emergency Declaration –Quarantine Restrictions on Travelers from New York State’ is hereby repealed in its entirety”

Per Governor Raimondo’s newest executive order, 20-14 dated March 28, 2020:

Any person coming to Rhode Island from another state for a non-work-related purpose must immediately self-quarantine for 14 days. This quarantine restriction shall not apply to public health, public safety, or healthcare workers. Executive Order 20-12 entitled “Tenth Supplemental Emergency Declaration –Quarantine Restrictions on Travelers from New York State” is hereby repealed in its entirety. (emphasis added)

Therefore it appears as if New York Governor Cuomo’s threat to sue Rhode Island over Gina Raimondo’s order to unconstitutionally search New Yorkers during coronavirus pandemic worked.
