Are Warwick Public Schools Implementing a China-Style Social Credit Score to CHILDREN that will follow them, not just in their school career, but FOREVER??

Warwick public schools are implementing a program called Panorama which will not only collect student data on behavior, family home life, equity, questions concerning sexuality, and questions concerning illegal substances. Panorama also allows teachers and staff to analyze and collect data to generate a behavioral profile on all students that will follow them through all grades and is district wide.

This is called PanoramaEd Dashboard social emotional competency scores and is a constant report of your children’s attitudes and dispositions that will follow them throughout their educational career and it will affect the type of treatment they receive from teachers and staff. It is a record they cannot escape from district wide.

While all our children have unique emotions and temperaments, they will be scrutinized and analyzed while also subjecting them to non reliable and non validated psychosocial behavioral data collection. Meanwhile, Panorama states that it is for the student’s “own good” while admitting at the same time “responses are tiered to intervention.”
Yes, I said interventions. Students can be “Flagged for an intervention” in Panorama’s Early Warning Program. “Interventions can be deployed to compel student compliance in any situation where an educator has determined that the student’s behavior indicates attitudes that do not conform to institutional expectations.”

The worst part about Warwick Public Schools implementing this Program is that the Parents and Guardians are not being informed!
You may think not being informed is bad, however they are also violating Federal Law 20 US code 1232, which requires Parental and or Guardian permission for any Non Academic surveys and data collecting.
I filed multiple public record requests and placed multiple calls to the superintendent’s office and have been getting the run around. Nevertheless, I was informed that the Panorama program does not come with and opt in or opt out and therefore they did not even consider parental permission.
I informed them I do not want my child in this program and I want to know where the data goes when it is collected and I have been getting the run around. It is obvious to me that they do not want us to know about this program, never mind opt out. It is clear that academic performance has now been pushed to the side and is not the main priority of public schools anymore.
