| The Rhode Island Republican State Central Committee is having its biennial election for Chairman, First Vice Chairman, Second Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. If you have an interest in running for office you MUST notify the chair of the nominating committee Paul Durfee (durfees@aol.com) by March 5th. If you are a registered Republican that intends to run, and you are not a current voting member of the Rhode Island Republican Party State Central Committee, please include the names of two current delegates who will sponsor your candidacy. Declared candidates will be notified by the Nominating Committee Chair of an interview time for a meeting to be held at a date to be determined. When we determine the number of people running and contested elections, we will determine where, when and how we can hold the elections before the end of March according to in person gathering parameters set by the State of Rhode Island. |
